Huntington West Virginia Market
Located on the banks of the Ohio River, Huntington is the largest city in the Huntington-Ashland, WV-KY-OH Metropolitan Statistical Area, sometimes referred to as the Tri-State Area. With a population of over 365 thousand, the Huntington-Ashland MSA is the largest in West Virginia. Huntington is also home to Marshall University and the Big Sandy Arena. Bristol Broadcasting Company operates two radio stations in the Huntington market.
  WEMM-FM is a 50,000 watt Christian Teaching and Talk radio station. With the same format since the station was founded in the 1970's, WEMM-FM has be become known nationally as one of the premier Christian radio stations and has built a solid audience base in the Tri-State area. WEMM-FM also serves its community with news and weather reports and helps with numerous service projects, fund raisers, and relief causes each year.  
  AM 1200 WYSN plays Southern Gospel Music. The WYSN-AM features the best of today's Southern Gospel Music hosted by well known personalities in the Gospel music world. WYSN targets the older, established 35-plus audience. The WYSN audience is very loyal and is quick to show support for the advertiser who support their favorite station.
